Innerspace + ISXEQ2 Tutorial

Base Installation

1. Go to Lavish and download Innerspace, install it. Let IS patch to the current stable version.

2. Make sure you have the latest version of ISXEQ2, which is available here.

  • ISXEQ2 does not come with InnerSpace. Amadeus releases it separately.

3. Load EQ2 by rightclicking the Red Crosshair Icon in your system tray and selecting Everquest II >>>> NO PATCH (If this fails and EQ2 forces you to patch, then take a break until a new version of ISXEQ2 is available).

4. Load your character into the game world, once loaded hit the tilde ~ (Beside the 1 on the keyboard) and type EXT ISXEQ2

  • ISXEQ2 should state that it had either loaded or failed to load, if it fails here you will need to get a copy of the correct Everquest2.exe executable. This can be found here.

Useful Commands

  • To unload the extension in game simply type "EXT -UNLOAD ISXEQ2"
  • To end a script at anytime type "ENDSCRIPT harvest" (or whatever the script you are running is named).
  • You can also use the blanket statement "ENDSCRIPT *" to end ALL running scripts scripts
  • I always keep ENDSCRIPT * cached in IS command log, so if something goes wrong I hit two or three keys and the script ends and I have complete control again.
  • Some useful options to type in the IS console to help you get a feel for what power it has.
  • where pc
  • where special
  • where npc
  • radar on (fully configurable)

Harvesting in a zone for the FIRST time

1. Download and extract the harvestbot files to the SCRIPTS directory inside Innerspace install path.

2. Edit the moveto.iss inside your SCRIPTS directory and assign the correct keys for the specified movements.

3. Move to the spot where you would like to start harvesting from

4. Make sure you are in 1st person mode and if travelling through water are facing just slightly above centre so you don't drown etc.

4. Open the IS console with tilde ~. This brings up the Innerspace Session Console. Type "run eq2pather auto 5"

5. A box will appear and ask what you want to name this point, name it START

6. Run the path you want to move through. You can at any time press F2 and add other spots, if parts of the zone are aggro to you, you can limit where you go on the path. Once you get the the end of your desired path, press F2 again and name the Nav point FINISH.

If you need to move over a bridge or move through a tunnel or narrow path, when approaching it start pressing, even spamming F1 every step, this will save a navpoint everytime you press F1 and help you stay on a very strict path for that part of the zone.

In zones with lava or where there are many many obstructions (Ferrott, Rivervale) along with using F1 to make many navpoints close together, lower the ROAMING distance for that zone down to a very low number like 15 and work your way up to a good safe number, depending on zone, adventure level, etc.

<Set Name="Roaming Values">
 <Setting Name="rivervale">30</Setting> LOW
 <Setting Name="enchanted">80</Setting>
 <Setting Name="antonica">80</Setting>
 <Setting Name="steppes">30</Setting>
 <Setting Name="orcishwastes">40</Setting>
 <Setting Name="feerrott">40</Setting> LOW
</Set>

Also you may need to change

<Setting Name="distance for the bot to move outside the max roaming range?">5</Setting>

to a lowish number. Changing these 2 settings can stop you humping walls, trees, running off cliffs (bad without safe fall).

7. Press F3 to save the points to the XML file, then F11 to end EQ2Pather script.

8. Again press tilde ~ and type run harvest Start Finish (or use your desired end point from your list of custom Nav Points you added. See below for examples using Enchanted Lands

run harvest Start Finish
(This would run the entire path in the zone)
run harvest Start Chomper
(This will run from the start of the zone upto Chompers Pond.

After you run the harvest.iss for the first time you will have a new XML file in your SCRIPTS/XML directory called harvestconfig.xml. Edit this XML file to your desired settings, please take care in here as 1 accidentally deleted character can cause the script to not work properly. Read what the settings do, most are very easily understood, if not reread Blazers instructions, do a search in the forums, then come and post your queries.

You wll need to do this for every new zone you want to use this script in. Once done however, simply load ISXEQ2 and run the harvest script (start from Step 8 above) with your custom settings and timers.

Using the Craft Script

Read all the above, absorb it into your skull and feel the power Razz

1. Download the Craft UI (which includes Recipe files) from [1] and extract them directly into your ROOT IS directory (C:\blah\blah\InnerSpace), NOT your scripts folder. This script uses UI elements and these do not go into the scripts folder, however other files do.

2. Load ISXEQ2 and type CRAFT in the session console. Wait for the UI window to load and for the recipes to be sorted in the scroll window.

3. Go through the options TAB in the UI window, and set any options as desired.

4. Select a recipe you want to craft from the drop down list and then click add recipe, wait for it to process the request and then do this for as many items as you need to craft. Of course you can change the quantity for each item before you press add recipe.

  • Make sure you at this point have zoned into a TRADESKILL INSTANCE

5. Once you have a finished your batch list, browse over your shopping list and see what is needed.

  • Note that the craftbot will, if given maximum cost parameters, attempt to auto-buy harvested items from the broker and merchant items from the merchant. If it fails to do so, it will pause and give you an opportunity to manually buy the needed items.

6. Go to the bank/broker and get your resources, then the Trade Skill zone merchant and buy your sub components and fuels.

MAKE SURE YOU HAVE ADEQUATE ROOM IN YOUR INVENTORY

7. After you have bought your shopping list, you are ready to go, and should have a list of items ready to be crafted in the bottom section of the UI. The top two windows should be empty or have all green writing.

If it says 0/1 Pearl and you have Vanadium...of course it will work, do not worry about things like that and certain names do not mesh 100% or there is 2 items that can be used for the same thing, this is half the reason you need spare roots and wood on hand.

8. Click Begin Crafting (or press F1) to begin crafting.

When crafting, always use drink and your GEBS or Invoker Robe as the regen speeds the crafting process exponentially.

NOTE: ALWAYS have spare roots and wood on call as when making items, the game will not always take what it says and especially what you want it to......ALWAYS have spares.
